The FAM177A1 Research Fund has partnered with Dr. Clement Chow at the University of Utah to do a drug screen using fruit flies. Dr. Chow's team has created FAM177A1-deficient flies that are unhealthy and are screening the flies to see what FDA-approved drugs improve their health.
